Our Story

Garden Veterinary Clinic was founded by Dr. Kim Neitzel.  A native of Orlando, Florida Dr. Neitzel graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 1987 and spent her career practicing veterinary medicine in the Orlando area.  With the goal of making the experience of coming to the veterinarian less stressful for pets and their owners, she founded Garden Veterinary Clinic in 2013.  She purposefully designed the practice with an open floorpan and unique “half doors” in the exam rooms to provide an open, friendly atmosphere.  She was passionate about not only providing quality, affordable veterinary healthcare, but also making the experience as comfortable as possible for pets and their owners.

Dr. Erin Lindblad started at Garden Veterinary Clinic as an associate veterinarian.  Dr. Neitzel saw that Dr. Lindblad shared the same passion for caring for pets and their owners as she did and she brought Dr. Lindblad on as a partner in the practice.  When it came time to retire, Dr. Neitzel knew she wanted to leave the clinic in the hands of someone who would carry on her legacy of quality veterinary care.  Dr. Lindblad was that someone and took ownership of the practice in 2020.  She now carries forward Dr. Neitzel’s tradition of honest, sincere, friendly, and compassionate veterinary care.

Dr. Kristin Stroud, DVM

Dr. Stroud graduated with honors with her DVM from the University of Florida in May 2001. She loves medicine, finding solutions, and performing soft tissue surgery to help her patients. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the Florida Veterinary Medical Association (FVMA), and the Central Florida Veterinary Medical Association (CFVMA).

Dr. Stroud was inspired to choose her career path thanks to a very special dog she had while growing up.

As this dog got older, he began developing age-related problems that a young Dr. Stroud wanted to solve.

Today, finding solutions to help pets in need is one of her favorite aspects of being a veterinarian, along with providing her patients with love and care, and working alongside wonderful staff. She also enjoys being able to treat such a wide variety of medical conditions...and getting to see puppies.

Dr. Stroud and her husband have 3 Cocker Spaniels named Maddox, Brody, and Dexter. She loves Gator football, being outside in nature, taking long walks with her dogs, scrapbooking, and spending time with close friends.
